The Goal

For children to represent themselves through their favorite things. They will share their favorite color, song, sport, or school subject. Through this form of play, all the children can find out how they may have the same interests or learn something new about a classmate.

The Method

By the children reflecting on their favorite activities, they enhance their personal experiences. This activity encourages the exploration and enhancement of one’s own history, discovering its richness, complexity, and uniqueness.

What We Found

The activity brings excitement in the students who are able to write down their favorite things and share them with their classmates. It brings the children closer together. New friendships are formed due to things in common. The activity increases the self-esteem and self-knowledge of the children.

How to Start

A questionnaire is put together for the children. Copies are handed out to each to fill out the information during class or at home. The children get to reflect on themselves through this activity. They explore their interests and find out how to express them to their classmates.
